Senior HR Business Partner, Dublin

(Temporary on going with a view for the right person)

Reporting to: EMEA Senior HR BP

Start: Immediate

Salary: €70-77K DOE

Location: Dublin 2 with occasional travel to the UK

Summary

This position is responsible for overseeing all HR operations and aligning business objectives with employees and management for all functions that operate from the Dublin office. The position serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues and assesses and anticipates HR-related needs. Communicating needs proactively within the client HR Operations and business management and seeks to develop integrated solutions. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The Senior HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the financial position, plans, culture and competition.

Functions

  • Serves as the credible trusted site Senior HRBP to people managers and individual contributors
  • Conducts regular meetings with respective people managers and business unit leaders
  • Manages day-to-day HR operations
  • Understands, challenges, and influences in line with HR and business strategy
  • Supports and makes decisions that align with company mission, values, behaviours and strategies
  • Implements solutions in collaboration with customers, stakeholders and global HR team
  • Seeks ways to proactively improve processes and outcomes
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve employee relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues and conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Applies legislative compliance knowledge to protect and oversee risk management issues
  • Partners with the legal department as required
  • Interprets and applies policies and procedures across the site
  • Recommends policy changes to support business needs
  • Implements change based on proven change-management techniques
  • Analysis of trends and metrics in partnership with the people analytics team to develop solutions, programs and policies
  • Champion company values and role model behaviours
  • Identifies training needs and participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success

Person Specification

  • 8 – 10 years solid experience in HR business partnering or demonstrable relevant HR experience
  • A relevant 3rd level/post graduate qualification
  • Previous experience of being a trusted advisor to the senior leadership team of a business unit or site
  • Proven experience being able to work effectively in a fast-paced matrixed environment
  • Team player
  • Resilience to manage setbacks acknowledge failures with the ability to promptly reflect and assess to enable a different response and approach to promote a successful outcome
  • Confident individual with outstanding learning agility who responds to criticism openly, always looking for ways to improve and learn new ways to do things more effectively
