Senior HR Generalist / Business Partner (Maternity Cover)
Unique opportunity to join a top-level organisation as Senior HR Generalist on a 9 month maternity cover contract.
Record and manage employee information such as, personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance evaluations and termination.
Ensure that HR policies and processes are consistently conducted both in the department and across the organisation.
Actively understanding the business and employee Issues Company wide.
Offer coaching and conflict resolution to managers and employees, and work with other members of the HR team to make suggestions for improvements.
Assist employee relations issues as needed.
Clearly present information and prepare reports for management.
Participate in policy and procedure development.
Provide a high level of service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Attend trainings and seminars to stay current on Human Resources laws, legislation, and trends.
Manage investigations in employee and customer situations, including harassment, discrimination, and violation of company policies.
Be tactful when expressing ideas or opinions.
Evaluate situations and make optimal and speedy decisions.
Express enthusiasm and promote a friendly group working environment.
Support any HR project as needed.
Minimum of 4 years' experience in a HR position
Excellent knowledge of employment law and GDPR
Excellent MS office
Experience in payroll and benefits, performance management, recruitment and employee relations
Personable and able to build and develop working relationships across the business
Ability to handle confidential matters with appropriate discretion
Able to provide friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.
Confident managing different stakeholder relationships and be comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic work environment
Proficient organisation and communication skills
