As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in your store’s success. The role is challenging and has plenty of variety; you can find yourself doing anything from deputising for the Store Manager, to coaching and developing your team, to reviewing in-store activity and of course ensuring our customers are well looked after.
Your focus in this role will be to ensure that our customers receive the best experience from the moment that they arrive in store, so that they can leave with a smile. You will be vital to delivering an ever-improving shopping experience to our customers. You and your team will ensure that the customer is at the heart of everything you do, creating a world-class shopping experience every time.
To be up for this challenge you’ll;
Have recent retail management experience in a fast-paced environment
Be passionate about delivering a fantastic customer experience
Have first class leadership skills
Have demonstrable experience of working towards performance targets
Be highly-organised, always planning for any eventuality
Be approachable, always keen to support and develop others
Be keen to develop and make the most out of your career with Argos
Have stock control experience – this would be beneficial, but not essential as training will be provided
